Peter Antonoplos is the founder of Antonoplos & Associates, Attorneys at Law located in Washington, DC. For decades, Peter’s clients have looked to him to apply his breadth of business and legal experience to arrive at creative solutions to complex issues. His practice focuses on the intersection of real estate, estates and trusts, asset protection and preservation, and business law, in both litigation and transactional matters.
Peter's clients include individuals and families, institutions, businesses, real estate developers, foreign governments, hedge funds, and national banking associations. Peter has received wide recognition among his clients, his peers, and the local judiciary for his strategic, personal, and results-driven advocacy.
A native of Washington, D.C., Peter received his J.D. from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law, where he served as a member of the Catholic University Law Review. After law school, Peter joined Baise & Miller, PC as an associate where he was trained by legendary real estate and estate planning attorneys Ralph Warner and Mike Levy. He then joined the real estate, and trusts and estates practice of Carter Ledyard & Milburn, LLP in New York and Washington, DC, and proceeded to earn his L.L.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, where he focused his studies on estate planning and partnership tax matters. Peter also holds an M.B.A. from Yale University, School of Management where he was involved with the Yale Center for Innovation and Design.
Peter lives in Northwest Washington, D.C. with his wife, two children, and two German shepherds. He is an avid chess player and car enthusiast.

-Represented The French Government in the sale of a $5.5 million dollar parcel of property in the Washington, D.C. Kalorama neighborhood.
-Represented Bank of America to clear title as to liens against real property in $25 million portfolios in DC, MD, and VA.
-Represented a $6.6 billion dollar hedge fund in tax sale litigation in the District of Columbia.
-Represented real estate investors in the sale of Union Market to JGB Companies for development of $1.2 Billion Dollar mixed-use development.
-Represented commercial landlord in landlord-tenant litigation involving mix-use development in Washington, D.C.'s H Street corridor.
-Represented residential real estate owner in specific performance action against real estate developer for breach of contract for the purchase of a $3.2 million dollar home in Washington, D.C.'s Georgetown neighborhood.
-Represented condominium developer in the development of 87 condominium units in DC's ward 8.
-Routinely Represents residential homeowners in construction defect litigation against housing flippers.
